Raindrops on the Roof
It was one of those simple, ordinary evenings. One that can occur any day, and is forgotten by morning.
It was one of those thunder storms. One which hardly can be called a "storm" at all. No wind, no lightning, only distant rumbling thunder and soft, steady rain. The constant pattering of the rain seemed uninterested in moving, like a quiet traveler who had found a place to rest for the night. From a window, the crisp reflections of softly glowing lamps behind pulled window shades, could be seen in the dancing water over the undisturbed roads. Everything was still, everything was silent. The only motion left was the steady splashing of rain
